The new TaylorMade SIM2 Max irons are designed for game improvement, with a focus on delivering better performance where it matters most. The Cap Back design utilizes a lightweight polymer to support the topline and upper perimeter of the face, improving sound and feel while working in conjunction with the reflexive Thru-Slot Speed Pocket to maximize face flexibility and increase ball speed and distance. The ECHO Damping System uses a softer polymer blend and multiple contact points across the face to absorb vibrations and create a forged-like feel. The SIM2 Max irons also feature a fast and forgiving face with an intelligently positioned expanded sweet spot, as well as Progressive Inverted Cone Technology to optimize forgiveness and minimize the common right miss. The Thru-Slot Speed Pocket and tungsten weighting help to lower the CG and increase launch and forgiveness, while the compact shape and Tour-inspired design offer a traditional look at address. The SIM2 Max irons are available in a range of lofts and come fitted with the KBS Max 85 steel shaft.
